Keep your workspace tidy and save space with this upright shelf unit for the WD My Book Desktop HDD Storage.
Made to fit drives with the max dimensions 171x49x139mm
Compartments are: 180x51x140 to allow room around the drive for ease of insertion and airflow.
The holder is designed so the drive lay sideways, saving you desk space by stacking your drives vertically, but if you prefer to have them side by side with the drives place vertically, this will work too.
This unit is perfect for professional photographers, videographers, or anyone who requires a lot of storage but still wants to keep their workspace tidy!
As can be seen on the pictures and video, the design is a through-hole, allowing cables and ventilation from the front and back, but I’ve also added vent holes on either side to allow for additional airflow. There are also thumb gaps on the front to aid removal of the drives. It is 3D printed and so is sturdy whilst remaining fairly lightweight.
If you have another make/model of HDD you'd like me to design a holder for, just drop me a message.
No Hard Drives or cables are included.
Colours and sheen may vary slightly from the photos depending on filament availability, and there may occasionally be small shifts in hue if a filament change is required mid-print. All items are printed on well-maintained, dialled-in machines, but 3D printing naturally can sometimes produce minor surface imperfections, which is normal. Each item is individually crafted, not mass-produced, and I take great pride in the finish. If you’re unhappy for any reason, I offer a 30-day return policy: simply cover the return postage and I’ll issue a full item refund - no questions asked.
Designed and 3D printed by me in my home studio, thanks for looking! :)
